Who we are
NextStop Highway is an app by Craon srl. For any privacy question write to info@craon.it.
In short
The app needs no account, shows no ads and uses no analytics or tracking tools. We do not collect personal data.
Location
The app uses your phone’s location, only while it is open, to tell which motorway you are on and which way you are heading. Your location is processed only on the phone: it is not sent to us or anyone else and it is not stored.
Data updates
When your phone is on Wi-Fi, the app checks whether newer motorway data is available and downloads it from our server. As with any download, the server receives your phone’s IP address, which we do not use to identify you.
Trip simulation
If you enter a city in the simulation, the city name is sent to the OpenStreetMap search service (Nominatim, run by the OpenStreetMap Foundation) to find its coordinates; the service also receives your phone’s IP address. See the OpenStreetMap Foundation privacy policy: osmfoundation.org/wiki/Privacy_Policy. Without a city the simulation sends nothing.
Data on your phone
Your preferences (language, voice alerts) and the motorway data stay on your phone and are deleted when you uninstall the app.
Your rights
Since we collect no personal data, we hold no data to show or delete. For any GDPR request write to info@craon.it.
